About Jean Pineau

Who am I?
Hello ! I'm Jean 😊
Originally from Toulouse, I now live in Paris. During the week, I work in cybersecurity (yes, a geek photographer 👨💻), and the rest of the time... I'm behind my camera!
I took up photography in 2021, first out of passion, then very quickly to capture the most memorable moments: the laughter, the knowing glances, the tears of joy.
Today, I shoot weddings, couples, or any other project that's close to your heart.
Initially trained as a self-taught photographer, I decided to go further and perfected my skills at theÉcole de Malet in 2024-2025.
And now, I'm launching Studio Pineau to work with you!
I'm continuing to educate myself, in the different photo techniques that exist. I'm also interested in the different artists who have developed photography.
How does it work in practice?
We start with a quick call 📞 - to get to know each other and check if I'm available for your date.
If the feeling is there (and I can't wait for it to be!), I'll send you a short questionnaire to find out more about you, your desires and what you want from your report.
The goal? For everything to be smooth and cool on the big day, with no stress. We can then discuss it in more detail over a coffee in Paris, or quietly by videolink, whichever suits you best ☕

Where can I go?
Based in Paris, I travel easily throughout France and neighboring countries thanks to public transport (long live the train🚆! ).
Whether your wedding is in the countryside, by the sea or in the city, if it's accessible, I can be there.
I have a driver's license, but no car of my own - but I can rent one if necessary.
And a little detail: I limit air travel as much as possible, for logistical (equipment) and ecological reasons.

Drawing up specifications
Before the wedding, I send you a short questionnaire to get a better understanding of your desires, your expectations, and what really matters to you.
We talk about the style of photos you like, the moments you definitely don't want to miss, and of course, the planning of your day.
All this allows me to be perfectly set for the D-day - so that you only have one thing to do: enjoy, without worrying about anything ✨

Meals and Breaks
On a wedding day, I'm often present between 10 and 2pm - and inevitably, that whets the appetite 😅
As stipulated by the French Labor Code, a hot sit-down meal is required if the service covers mealtimes.
Meals can be provided on the spot, among the guests or on a separate table. I'm happy to fit in with the atmosphere - and it keeps me close to the action, even during quieter moments. ✨

What if it spills over a little?
I'm here to capture your day, not look at my watch ⌚
I know weddings don't always follow the minute-to-minute schedule - and that's OK! No stress if it spills over a bit. As long as it doesn't go outside the original formula.
I don't charge for overtime as long as it's reasonable, and remains within the scope of the agreed service.
The most important thing is that you can live your day to the full, without pressure ❤️
