About Jean Pineau
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Jean Pineau.
Originally from Toulouse and now living in Paris, I trained as a cybersecurity engineer before reinventing myself as a wedding photographer.
I photograph weddings with an editorial, natural and elegant approach. I seek to capture what is really happening, with beautiful images and beautiful moments. I provide a framework so that you can express yourselves freely during the photoshoot. I sharpened my vision at theÉcole de Malet (2024–2025) to further push my technical and artistic standards.
Studio Pineau promises meticulous reporting with the rigour of an engineer, carried out in a cool and relaxed atmosphere, to produce stunning images!
And in practical terms, how does it work?
It all starts with a call to meet up – to discuss your story, check my availability and see if we click. Following this initial contact, I will send you a short, tailor-made questionnaire to identify your desires, your style and your expectations for the coverage.
Once we have received your completed questionnaire, we will schedule a meeting in Paris or online — depending on the possibilities. This allows me to immerse myself in your world, talk about the day's events, your precious moments, and establish a smooth scheduling.
On the big day, I will be by your side withdiscretion and rigour. Thanks to our joint preparation, everything is going smoothly. Naturally, without stress. All you have to do is live, feel, share – I capture the authenticity of every moment.
After your event, I will select the photos that best tell your story. You will be able to view them in an online gallery..
Where am I travelling to?
Based in Paris, I easily travel across France and throughout Europe.
Whether your wedding takes place in the countryside, by the sea, or in the city, I can be there.
I have a driving licence, but no car of my own — so I prefer places that are accessible by public transport, but I can also rent a car if needed.
