Who am I?
Hi, I’m Jean Pineau.
Originally from Toulouse and now based in Paris, I live a double life: cybersecurity engineer during the week, photographer the rest of the time. Two very different worlds, yet both shaped my eye for rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
Since 2021, my approach has gone beyond documenting weddings — it’s about revealing the couple’s elegance and connection. After years of self-learning, I refined my craft at theMalet School (2024–2025), bringing both technical mastery and artistic sensitivity to my work.
With Studio Pineau, I create editorial and timeless photography: celebrating the bride, honoring the groom, and offering the couple a body of work they can be proud of and pass on as an heirloom.
And in practical terms, how does it work?
It all starts with a call to meet up – to discuss your story, check my availability and see if we click. Following this initial contact, I will send you a short, tailor-made questionnaire to identify your desires, your style and your expectations for the coverage.
Once we have received your completed questionnaire, we will schedule a meeting in Paris or online — depending on the possibilities. This allows me to immerse myself in your world, talk about the day's events, your precious moments, and establish a smooth scheduling.
On the big day, I will be by your side withdiscretion and rigour. Thanks to our joint preparation, everything is going smoothly. Naturally, without stress. All you have to do is live, feel, share – I capture the authenticity of every moment.
After your event, I will select the photos that best tell your story. You will be able to view them in an online gallery..
Where am I travelling to?
Based in Paris, I easily travel across France and throughout Europe.
Whether your wedding takes place in the countryside, by the sea, or in the city, I can be there.
I do have a driving license, but no personal car — so I usually prioritize locations accessible by train or public transport.
